THE SONS SHINE AGAIN
Championship upset gives franchise 3rd DLB title

Having only lost once all year, the momentum was in the corner of Killer Bees in the championship battle with Sons of Pitches. But as it was in 2018, the Bees fell short, as SOP, coming off a shocking come-from-behind win in the semi-finals over The Hit Parade, destroyed the Killer instinct of the Bees’ somewhat injured squad with a 14-3 drubbing. This is the first championship since 2016 for SOP and their third overall since 2010. The crew was led by the onslaught of Aaron Judge and Eddie Rosario at the plate. On the mound, Jose Berrios and Robbie Ray combined for 30 strikeouts, while Robbie Ray led the bullpen with three saves. For the Bees, losing Christian Yelich, Gary Sanchez, and Edwin Encarnacion proved to be too much to overcome a determined Sons team.
